Just wondering also about the cabinet painting process. We have almost the identical kitchen - color scheme wise. I already have beadboard and mouldings but those yuck honey colored cabinets and seriously FUGLY handles. I'm curious what you did about the inside of the cabinets. Did you paint the shelves and sides of them also?

I've been wanting to paint ours for 3 years.. but I'm so scared of it. I painted our crummy bathroom vanity and it worked out great but that was 2 small doors and they were white when we started.

Hi,
I am up in the night, stewing about some decisions we need to make as we plan a kitchen remodel. I wish we were handy like you. We are looking at a company that gets things done within a week. The guy is bringing a van of the materials they use on Monday, and said to plan on it taking a couple hours to go through the things.

I love the things you did in your kitchen. I found your blog doing a search on beadboard back splashes. My husband wants tile, but our kitchen is small, and I want a homey look. Are you still happy with your beadboard? Someone online said theirs was hard to keep clean.
