And I'm feeling very state-loyal this weekend, so I thought I would do....

2. We can separate from the union at any time and become our own nation. I'll also add that we are the only state that can fly their flag at the same height as the United States flag.
1. Bluebonnets. They are the most beautiful flower I've ever seen. I wish they were around longer than the few weeks they are here in the spring.

Hi! I linked over from alyssa's blog. I've lived in TX most of my life. I think the best part of the TX is the wiiiide open spaces. No wait maybe it's the sky that looks like a big blue bowl flipped over the top of you. Or it could be that my boys are Sons of the Republic and there is a rich history of men who like those wide open spaces.
I could go on and on, but I'll stop now.
